If you're using the Flexnet Licensing Server, you may encounter this error when importing the license through the web admin page: Expected one or three server lines.

Solution

  1. Open the .lic file you're attempting to upload in a text editor like Microsoft Notepad.
  2. Insert the following text as the first line:
    SERVER this_host ANY
  3. Save and import again.
