AdminStudio WiseScript Package Editor is an application development tool that enables you to create and edit installation packages that are built with the WiseScript scripting language. Use WiseScript Package Editor to edit and refine installations that you have imported from legacy installations, or that you have re-created with SetupCapture or ApplicationWatch.
WiseScript Package Editor is available to users of AdminStudio 11 and later who purchased an AdminStudio for Symantec license.
Repackager is a tool that assists with converting legacy installations into Windows Installer packages that you can customize and distribute according to your organization's needs.
This article explains how eligible users can obtain WiseScript Package Editor and the standalone version of Repackager.

Discussion

To obtain WiseScript Package Editor:
  1. Ensure that AdminStudio 11 or later is installed and either activated or connected to a license server. The license that you purchased must have been an AdminStudio for Symantec license.
  2. Logon to your Product and License Center Account and you should see Wise Script Editor in your list of available downloads
  3. Download the file, Double-click the file and complete the installation.
To launch WiseScript Package Editor:

On the Windows Start Menu, under the AdminStudio folder, click the AdminStudio Tools menu, and then click the shortcut for WiseScript Package Editor.

WiseScript Package Editor opens.
To obtain the standalone version of Repackager:
  1. Download the Standalone Repackager from your Product and License Center account
  2. Double-click the file and complete the installation.
