From those of us who were using spot.io i can not log in to my dashboard anymore and clicking the 'forgot password' does not send me a new link

Gandalf asked a question.
Forgive me if this is obtuse -- I am a client of a Flexera client and have no direct knowlege of what are the actual product name that in use here -- only the URL.
It is a cloud licensing scheme for their product suite. For monitoring license usage I was provided with a username and password to a URL on a site ending with flexnetoperations.com.
In that website, branded with the logo fo the product we use, after a lot of clicking, I can get to a list of machines that have licenses in use under a site code. Then I have to click on each machine to see which of the three possible products are being used.
I want to integrate this into our Slack along with all the other licenseing systems we use and so I need to be able to get this information in a textual way from a non-Windows environment.
Using the browser development tools, I have been able to write a bash script to authenticate and retrieve some of the old-style list pages.
However, the new, live, good stuff is behind these "react" api contstructs and no matter how closely I duplicate the behaviour in the browser I still can only get it to give me back either
"Full authentication is required to access this resource"
or
"API call failed:An unexpected error occurred."
depending on which kluged-together cURL command I use.
Am I on the right track posting here looking for clarification and, ideally, documentation?
Thanks for your patience!

I would recommend that you raise this question through the Revenera Community, specifically in its FlexNet Operations Forum.

I'd checked for the api's for the spot (spot by flexera). But it dosen't supports pagination. So, I want to ask that is there any other options or any other types of pagination is supported for it?

Using WMI is no longer supported. Please contact Snow support.
any idea ?

I noticed that WMI support has been discontinued—what a shift! I'm curious how this impacts users who relied on it for system monitoring. What alternative methods are people using now to track their assets? Also, has anyone received feedback from Snow Support about this change yet? @eggy car

Hello,
I've noticed that recently our Adobe Saas connector stopped working correctly. the tests are showing as if all is ok, but for some subscriptions the status for all users says 'not monitored' or 'activity cannot be monitored' .
I also cannot edit any of the details on those subscriptions as I get "Failed to fetch applications" error.
On the Adobe Console the vendor changed the naming convention by adding " - Edition 3" to all items, could that be it? how do we fix it?
Thank you and kind regards
Ola/TAM

@Linklaters1
Adobe recently changed its APIs to provide more details, e.g., specifically calling out single apps vs. standalone subscriptions. Adobe may have introduced other changes as you point out above, and maybe also some customer specific ones.
Please open a support case if you need assistance in troubleshooting your issue further.
Thanks,

Regarding Cost optimization of EC2 or Virtual machine
Scenario:- For a compute instance where downsize\Rightsize recommendation is suggested once its Memory utilization is lower than 50% and CPU utilization is less than 70%
Quention 1: - While looking the metric , are metrics looked on Average Percentile, Minimum percentile and Maximum percentile of 70% is considered or It is just Avg , Min and Max value , which is considered.
Quention 2 - While recommending the downsize\Rightsize , does the capacity of next SKU can handle the configuration of current SKU (i.e. No. of dis attached can be handled by new SKU size)

trying to run most up to date 2024 policies for AWS ... right size, disconnected volumes, long running, etc
credentials have not been altered and all 2023 policies run, but are showing outdated data. found out recently that there are updated 2024 policies. i try to run those and they all error out. nothing has changed on my end, so what is the cause?
policies from 2023 work, policies from 2024 do not work

I've checked a number of AWS policies in error state. In a couple of cases, it seemed that credential used might not be valid, however in most case, policies failed for accounts with "opted-in" regions like ap-south-2, af-south-1, etc.
We provide a policy to test AWS credential for accounts and regions and identified a list of the regions the credential does not work for.
The policy can be found here: https://github.com/flexera-public/policy_templates/tree/master/automation/aws/aws_missing_regions
Please let me know if you need more details.
I hope the information helps you.

I think that you will have to request this by contacting Flexera Support.
