Does anyone use Snow with Remedy to integrate and/or manage software processes?
Looking for other companies we could talk to about how you decided to integrate to pass software data (i.e. BMC connector or other method) and any lessons learned. Also, is anyone using Remedy workflows vs Snow Automation Platform workflows?
We are trying for some time already to get the BMC Helix Remedyforce connector running to pass Snow data into Remedyforce. We now have a modified, by Snow, SIM 5.25 version running which seems to be doing what we it expect it to do. But still testing so no final verdict yet 😉
Thanks! We are leaning towards only using the connector for hardware, and using another method to get software into Remedy, due to the large dataset created by bringing in the relationships. Are you using Remedy to manage contracts or your software renewal process or are you fully relying on Snow, or neither?
We are relying on Snow and our procurement system to manage contracts and renewals. We intend to use the connector to improve the data quality of the CMDB in RemedyForce.
