Partners can now choose which customers connect their own cloud bills.

Partners can now decide which of their customers can connect their own cloud bills to Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization. They do this with a new Bill Configuration capability on each customer's Capabilities tab.

A partner pays Flexera for the cloud spend collected across all its customers. That includes bills a customer connects itself, which the partner may not manage. Bill Configuration lets the partner decide which spend it takes on.

When a partner switches it off

• The customer can't add new cloud bills or upload bill files.
• Flexera One stops collecting the customer's own bills.
• Nothing is deleted. Switching it back on resumes collection, with nothing to set up again.
• Every customer beneath that customer is switched off too.

Who's affected

• Existing customers keep Bill Configuration on, so nothing changes until a partner acts.
• New customers that a partner creates start with it off.
• Customers who buy directly from Flexera aren't affected.
