Introducing Alerts & Notifications in Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization
Flexera One now introduces a unified Alerts & Notifications experience in Cloud Cost Optimization (CCO), enabling teams to proactively monitor cloud spend and respond to cost risks in real time.
This new capability replaces complex, policy-based alerting with a more intuitive and centralized alert configuration experience.
Capability:
Budget Alerts
Create alerts tied to cost plans and get notified when spend reaches defined thresholds.
- Monitor budget consumption using:
- Spending-to-budget ratio (%)
- Absolute spend ($)
- Configure multiple thresholds for proactive tracking
Cost Anomaly Alerts
Detect unexpected changes in cloud spend based on historical patterns.
- Identify anomalies using:
- Cost deviation (%)
- Cost impact ($)
- Define granular scope across provider, account, service, region, and more
- (Note: Available only for organizations with anomaly detection enabled)
Centralized Alerts Management
Manage all alerts from a single location: Cloud → Alerts & Notifications → Alerts
- View alerts created by you or shared with you
- Track key details like status, last triggered, and alert type
- Create, edit, pause, resume, or delete alerts easily
Email Notifications
Receive email notifications when alert conditions are met.
- Includes context such as:
- Alert details
- Threshold breached
- Spend insights
- Direct link to investigate and take action
