Key highlights in SLM 26.1.0

1. Report name is used as file name during export

  • Exported reports now use the actual report name with a timestamp instead of a generic filename.
  • Reduces manual renaming and improves report traceability for audits and compliance.

2. Relative date ranges in Applications per computer and Application installation history reports

  • Reports now support relative date ranges (e.g. last week, last month, last quarter).
  • Enables saved and scheduled reports that automatically stay up to date without manual changes.

3. License upgrade and downgrade rights enabled by default

Upgrade rights are enabled by default when an active maintenance period is added to a license, and downgrade rights are enabled by default when new licenses are added manually. Both upgrade rights and downgrade rights remain fully configurable.

  • Aligns license behavior with common vendor practices while remaining fully configurable
  • Reduces compliance inaccuracies caused by missing upgrade and downgrade coverage.

4.NATS Server upgraded to latest stable version

The NATS Server component has been upgraded from version 2.9.17 to 2.10.27. This upgrade brings important stability improvements, and resolves the critical JetStream authorization vulnerability CVE‑2025‑30215 present in earlier versions.

5.MongoDB Upgrade to stable version

MongoDB has been updated to version 8.0.19.

    • Hello @mbreistrand It seems to be there now. Mine is installing now, but the update seems to take a long time, we're now at two and a half hours and counting...image

      • Hi, thanks for the update. Still waiting for all my approvals from last week. Not sure why this is taking so long.
