Summary

Based on our analysis, the product needs to be updated from Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) → to → Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).

Flexera will migrate all associated products, releases, and mappings from the old product, Microsoft Monitoring Agent, to the new product, Azure Monitor Agent, both in the ARL & Technopedia libraries.

Impact

This change will impact customers who rely on Technopedia Product ID/Release ID & Names, or previously discovered data mapped to the old manufacturer, will be mapped to the new manufacturer. The change requires the customer to manage downstream processes and reporting in their organization.

The spreadsheet “Microsoft Monitoring Agent to Azure Monitor Agent” provides the complete list of software products whose product names will be renamed from “Microsoft Monitoring Agent to Azure Monitor Agent.”
