We're excited to announce the General Availability (GA) of GCP Detailed Billing in Cloud Cost Optimization. This enhancement provides significantly more granular visibility into your Google Cloud Platform costs, enabling precise filtering, deeper insights, and better cost optimization capabilities. 

GCP Detailed Billing offers a complete split of billing data with resource-level granularity, beyond what the standard export provides. This is particularly valuable for organizations that need to filter specific credit types (like promotional credits), analyze costs at the resource level, and prepare for upcoming GCP billing enhancements.

Please Note: With this release, GCP Detailed billing will be the default billing, and standard bill connects creation will not be supported. Blending capability is available for existing standard billing GCP customers to migrate seamlessly to new detailed GCP billing.
