Summary

The WebMethods, ApplinX, and EntireX product lines were originally developed by Software AG. On 1 July 2024, IBM completed the acquisition of these products from Software AG.

As a result of this acquisition, WebMethods, ApplinX, and the EntireX product line now belong to IBM. These products are now managed and supported under IBM.

Flexera will migrate all products/releases/mappings from the old manufacturer, Software AG, to the new manufacturer, IBM.

 

Impact

This change will impact customers who rely on Technopedia Product ID/Release ID & Names. Previously discovered data mapped to the old manufacturer will be updated to reflect the new manufacturer. The change requires the customer to manage downstream processes and reporting in their organization.

The spreadsheet Software AG to IBM provides the complete list of all the software products for which the publisher’s name will be renamed from “Software AG to IBM

 

When

Customers can expect these changes to occur from September 29th to October 3rd. The changes have been implemented.
