Flexera One ITAM System Tasks page inappropriately shows tasks related to Data Platform extractors; task status is always "In progress" or "Timed out"

Description

Data imported into Flexera One IT Visibility (ITV) based on a Data Platform-style data extractor configured under Common Inventory Tasks is not imported into Flexera One IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Despite this, tasks related to these data sources can be shown on the Flexera One ITAM System Tasks page and other pages. These tasks perpetually appear with a status of “In progress” or “Timed out”.

These tasks can be ignored where they appear, and taken as an indication/reminder that this type of data source is not relevant for Flexera One ITAM.

Fix status

This issue is planned to be addressed in the following future releases: 2026 R1.3 / Sep 2026 (Cloud), 2026 R2 (On Premises).
