Does Snow Software® Commander® Use Cookies?
Snow Software® Commander® uses two cookies.
The first is required to track user session information, and contains a 32-bit hash of the session ID. This cookie expires at the end of the browser session and is never reused.
The second cookie is optional, and is used to store the default Active Directory Domain to use when logging into Commander® or the Service Portal. This cookie is name com.embotics.domain. Its contents are not encrypted and it does not expire when the browser session closes. It is updated whenever a user logs in.
To disable the optional cookie, follow the procedure below.
- Login to Commander® and choose System Configuration under the Configuration menu.
- On the Authentication tab, click Edit under Login Preferences.
- Uncheck Display the domain field. Click OK.
