Manually add devices to application stacks in Foundation/CloudScape
In Foundation/Cloudscape, application stacks are automatically grouped during discovery and dependency mapping. In some cases, you may need to manually adjust these groupings to improve accuracy, naming, or tagging for migration planning and business continuity.
This article shows you how to manually add devices to a stack.
- Go to the Asset page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the asset table.
- Select the devices you want to include by checking the boxes on the left side of the table.
- Select Manage Stacks at the top of the page.
- Choose the action you want to perform:

Move devices to a different stack

Remove devices from a stack

Copy devices to another stack

After completing these steps, your selected devices are updated within the appropriate stacks, helping you maintain accurate groupings for planning and reporting.
