Office 365 Service error: "The input is not a valid Base-64 string"
Office 365 data is not added or updated to Snow License Manager and the SnowLicenseManagerOffice365Service Windows service throws the following error:
ERROR SnowSoftware.LicenseManager.Office365.CommandHandlers.SignalImportAsCommittedCommandHandler [(null)] - Problem importing 365 estate, will retry command in one minute: {"CustomerId":1,"ImportId":"460cf559-e40b-476c-a097-98d5cfcd3d05","SystemUserFullName":"SYSTEM","SystemUserId":null} System.FormatException: The input is not a valid Base-64 string as it contains a non-base 64 character, more than two padding characters, or an illegal character among the padding characters. - Snow License Manager 8.x
- Any report or menu related to Office 365 data in License Manager Web Interface
Analysis
Make sure that the SnowLicenseManagerOffice365Service is started, and stays started.
The log location for this service is: C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Logs\Office365Service/ open the most recent log file and search for the error message stated in the initial description
Resolution
Update License Manager to version 8.2.5 via Snow Update Service
