Snow Atlas Recognition Rules: Requesting New Rules and Update Timing

This article explains how to request a new recognition rule and when to expect recognition rule updates to appear in Snow Atlas.

Request a New Recognition Rule

To request a new recognition rule, submit a request through the Recognition Request form available in the Support Portal.

Provide as much detail as possible about the application or software that requires recognition. This helps ensure the request can be reviewed and processed efficiently.

How often are recognition rules updated within Snow Atlas?

The Snow Recognition Service (SRS) update for Snow Atlas is scheduled to complete daily.
If a new recognition rule has been added, please allow up to 48 hours for this change to reflect within the Atlas recognition rules.
If the changes are not present 48 hours after confirmation of the application being added (or you are unable to locate a rule that was previously present), contact the Support team for assistance.
