Flexera user issue

We have Flexara Software Vulnerability Manager installed on a server inside our network.  We have had one user that has used the software and is able to log into the software and able to use the software on his profile.  When we log into the server as someone else and try to open the application in the web interface we are not able to see all of the patches that have been pushed out, and also not able to get it to connect to the WSUS server (Which it is installed on the WSUS server)  Not seeing why it is doing this but would appreciate any help.

Hello,

I want to add a few more things that my colleague already mentioned. If your user can't connect to the WSUS but the other user can, then it is most probably a WSUS permission issue. Please make sure that your user has the below privileges:

WSUS Administrator Group privileges—You will need WSUS Administrator Group (located locally on your WSUS Server).

Once you connect to the WSUS, then you should be able to see available packages. You can also mention if you are using a web console or the WSUS management tool. If you are using the web console, please run Internet explorer by 'right-clicking' and choosing 'Run as Administrator.

If your issue is not resolved and still need help, please open a support ticket.

Hi,

Please Download and Install the Software Vulnerability Manager Client ToolKit from the below link. Software Vulnerability Manager Client ToolKit

Open Flexera WSUS Management Tool which will allow you to manage the packages and configuration settings of WSUS.On successfully installing the Software Vulnerability Manager Patch Configuration Tool and the Software Vulnerability Manager Patch Configuration Tool shortcut, one shortcut for Flexera WSUS Management Tool will get created on your desktop. It consists of two tabs:

• Patching Information
• Configuration

The patching Information (Patching Information Help )tab prompts you to connect to the WSUS server to view the packages, based on the selected filter option, either 3rd party, Microsoft updates or both. It allows you to approve, delete, or decline the selected patches.

We hope this will resolve your issue.
