InstallShield 2019 uninstall and reinstall

Hi,

I have installed InstallShield 2019 R3 in a PC using HostID, which I used to to get the license file. This PC will not be used anymore, so I want to install this InstallShield version in another PC.

As the license has reference to this Host ID, do I have to follow any step before install again?

You can also download flexnethostid exe using below link, run the exe to get host id in new machine, then using that HOST ID you can generate new license file from PLC

Hi,

The problem that I have is that when I try to activate the IS2019 Premier with an activation code, the activation fails due to following error:

Error 0 - Activation of Activation Code **** failed: The quantity specified exceeds maximum quantity allowed...

This license was activated in another PC in 2019 and this is not available anymore. From License center there is no option to return that license.

Is it possible to recover that activation code and use it to activate IS2019 Premier in a new PC?
