Hi @Anshul-Prabhaka are you using Onprem FNO or Cloud, if its cloud then please raise a support case, the error saying that the device account and Activation ID account is not matching. can you check if both are the same account? Or any device was created with the same Host which was mapped to another account.

Best Regards,

We are trying to Test multi Tenancy where once product can be mapped to multiple Tenants, is there any super admin access path who can perform this action.

Hi @Anshul-Prabhaka ,

This error is generated when you are trying to Activate a Device belonging to Account A when the Activation code is from an Entitlement for Account B.   Please look at the Device Details in FlexNet Operations to verify the Account to which the Device belongs.  You can manually assign the Device to the desired Account if needed.

This Account check feature is enabled by default to prevent end users at different companies from sharing Activation IDs.  Although not common, there are some use cases where it is desired to have Devices activate licenses from entitlements belonging to multiple Accounts.  You can enable this functionality in the Producer Portal by selecting "Skip Account Check" in System/Configure/FlexNet Operations/Embedded Device Settings.

Thanks,

Jim

We have a multi tenancy use cases so other than the above option do we have any super account thing where with a single account we can activate licenses without above error.

Hi @Anshul-Prabhaka ,

Sorry, enabling the "Skip Account Check" would be the only option.

Thx,

Jim
