Below the list, click the Import Update Set from XML link.
Under Step 1: Choose file to upload, click Step 1: Choose File... and navigate to the update set (XML file) that you want to apply. If this is a hotfix or update, the XML file is included with the hotfix or update package. If you are not applying an update set that is part general release, the latest update set is included in the the ServiceNow folder of the Adapter Tools for FlexNet Manager Suite.
When your file finishes uploading, it displays in the list of Retrieved Update Sets with a State value of Loaded.
Click the hyperlinked name of your update set.
Below the properties, click Preview Update Set. Note: You should backup any property sets (such as MID Server Name and Integration Properties) or customizations. You should choose Accept remote update set for all conflicts; and after the newer application is installed, reset the properties, and redo customizations. You cannot commit the update set until you have previewed it and addressed any problems.
When there are no more errors or conflicts remaining, click Commit Update Set. Note: You cannot commit the update set until you have previewed it and addressed any errors.
