Due to a bug identified when running the Usage Summary and Peak Usage & Denials (PUD) reports, your report outputs may not fully match up with lmstat/Raw reports if you look deep into the data. Follow the steps below to download and apply the attached hotfix to correct this issue.

Solution

The attached hotfix must be configured on the Reporting server. No changes need to be applied to databases. No changes are required on the Flexera Analytics server.

  1. Stop both the Admin and Reporting services.
  2. Download and apply the hotfix to your Reporting server. A ReadMe.txt file is included in the zip file with instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

IMPORTANT: If you already have a "custom" directory in your environment, take a backup of this folder before applying the hotfix. If there are any issues after applying the hotfix, you can use the original folder to restore the system to its previous configuration.

  1. Copy the custom folder packaged in the hotfix into the install location of the Reporting server.
  2. Run the command flexnet site make on the Reporting server. Make sure that this completes successfully.
  3. Once the hotfix is applied, start the Reporting service first and then the Admin service.

After applying the attached hotfix, Usage Summary and Peak Usage & Denials should now match lmstat outputs correctly.
