This KB article addresses the question of whether you can export information from the IBM LDAP / Directory Services using the FNMS Business Adapter.
Synopsis
IBM LDAP may be in use in your estate for user and enterprise information e.g Business / Corporate Units and Cost Centers. According to Flexera's Business Adapter Practice Guide, the business adapter does not support non-AD LDAP data sources.
Discussion
No such restriction is stated in the Business Adapters PDF at least. On page 118 of said guide it states:
"The Business Importer can import data from directory services, such as Microsoft Active Directory, or Novell eDirectory."
Although it does not explicitly state that IBM's Directory Services are included, it does not exclude them either.
