Is Flexera Analytics now Compatible with Microsoft Edge

In the current System Requirements doc it states that Flexera Analytics is not compatible with Microsoft Edge.

Is this still the case with the Chromium version of Edge and if so are there plans to make this compatible or is this with IBM to update Cognos before it will be compatible.

Hi @russellwood,

Assuming you are referring to the typical Analytics version bundled with the Flexnet Manager Suite (11.0.13) IBM were not specifically mentioning Microsoft Edge as a supported browser i.e.

I suspect that this may be due to a variety of reasons such as Edge still using it's earlier (non-Chromium) legacy engine when 11.0.13 of Cognos was released but may also be due to IBM not explicitly going back to re-test older software releases as new browser versions get released.

Having said this, Google's own Chrome wasn't fully supported for this version of Cognos as covered here:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-cognos-analytics-11x-google-chrome-or-microsoft-edge-supported-analysis-studio-query-studio-and-event-studio

Generally speaking you should expect to see the latest versions of Edge using the Chromium engine behave the same as Google's Chrome so if you have successfully been using Chrome with Analytics your experience should be mirrored with Edge.
