FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #531)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available.

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and was available on Monday, December 25^th 2023 in your time zone.

What's new in this release?

• 315 new SKUs have been added to the SKU library. The following table provides an overview of the number of SKUs with respect to publisher:

• More than 700 SKUs are mapped to its respective applications.
• SKUs missing PURL templates have been worked upon and 7,249 SKUs are linked to its license templates. Details on number of SKUs covered across each publisher:

• 29 new custom FLX SKUs – 2 Adobe, 12 Microsoft and few other publishers SKUs have been created and released to supplement FSM workflow for the respective products and cater to customer requests. SKUs details are available in attached spreadsheet 'CustomFlexeraSKUsForDecember2023.xlsx'.

• Library information are as follows:
• Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,062,167 across 1,577 publishers.
• Total number of PURL templates is 5,090 across 66 publishers.
• Total number of published Bundles is 4,514 across 25 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated?

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. If you do not already have a copy of this report installed, you can obtain the latest version of the report (and installation instructions) from Flexera Software knowledge base article M100955 available from the Flexera Software Knowledge Center at https://community.flexera.com/t5/FlexNet-Manager-Knowledge-Base/SKU-Library-Update-Report/ta-p/5900

The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, January 26^th 2024. The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, January 29^th 2024 in your time zone.

Downloading the SKU/PURL Libraries Manually

The SKU/PURL library updates can be downloaded from the Flexera Product and Licensing Center (PLC 2.0).

For full details on how to install content library files once they have been downloaded, see the "Manual Updates of Library Data" topic in the Installing FlexNet Manager Suite On-Premises PDF applicable to your version of FlexNet Manager Suite.

To locate this PDF,  go to the Flexera Product Documentation website and select your FlexNet Manager Suite version from the VERSION drop down list. The file will now be listed and available for you to download.
