The latest monthly patch for Data Platform 2024, 5.5.72, has now been made available as of March 29, 2024.
New Features and Enhancements
- Expanded ILMT/BigFix REST-API extractor to support custom computer properties
- Upgraded Pentaho to version 9.3.0.6
- Improved the patching process to check for conditions that would cause a failure before starting the patching process.
- Added new optional mapping behavior for Oracle JDK or JRE releases to override the default Technopedia mapping for those products mapped to a “public” release.
- Added a new document Data Platform Troubleshooting Guide which documents the error codes Data Platform administrators may encounter.
Resolved Issues
- An issue that was causing the Technopedia Manufacturer OOTB report to be empty.
- An issue in which Data Validation would silently fail for some fields due to a misspelled field name.
- Corrected the Out of Date Versions report to ensure it includes the Release Behind field.
- An issue with password encryption/decryption on using a new security key.
- An issue with inventory filtering.
- An issue with Technopedia-only licenses installing version 5.5.66 build 4009 (further information can be found in KB Article)
- An issue where some mashup processes failed due to a large number of fields in the selection.
- An issue with report sharing that prevented seeing shared reports.
