Hi, I've followed the instruction on how Update powershell app deployment toolit. https://docs.flexera.com/adminstudio2022r2sp1/Content/helplibrary/UpdatePowerApp.htm#applicationcatalogs_3719179812_3150904 However the variable {UnInstallPackage} is not reflecting the correct value when replaced. it translate to a mix of {InstallPackage} and {UnInstallPackage} i.e. Execute-Process -path "$dirFiles\apache-tomcat-10.1.7.exe""$dirFiles\Uninstall.exe" -Parameters "/S -ServiceName=""Tomcat10""" as you can see from above the commandline to install is appended by the commandline to uninstall. Is this a known issue? Thanks. Cheers, Man

Thanks for following up with your findings here. Our team had the same experience. We put these through several checks before making them available, and all indications are that it is fine. Still, concerning to see this type of thing, so hoping they address it quickly.

Sorry that I missed to mention about the PowerShell cmdlet that you could use to fetch the install and uninstall command line switches for an installer in a catalog. You could fetch command line switches using this cmdlet and then pass them over to your automation script or your automation script might call this cmdlet directly depending on how your automation script is written. Here is the help topic related to the cmdlet: https://docs.flexera.com/adminstudio2022r2sp1/Content/helplibrary/ASplatform_Get_ASProperty.htm#platformapi_1854548123_1118774 You could use AdminStudio's Application Distribution feature to publish applications from AdminStudio into ConfigMgr (SCCM) without having the need to manually (or have another script do the job) import applications into SCCM. Very interesting scenario. It may be possible that the required processes are running in the background but these processes may not have a hook to connect to the AdminStudio catalog. Could you please send us the ISCMIDE.log and AdminStudioHost.log files from the below location via a support case: C:\Program Files (x86)\AdminStudio\2022\Common Please ensure the debug level in the registry is set to 5 while getting the log files by going to the below location in the registry: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\InstallShield\AdminStudio @normanperez

@moconn I do understand that each organization requires their own customization. For ours, controlling the requirement with a collection query is resource intensive as it runs regularly to update your dynamic collection contents. The OS requirement I mentioned is needed for an Application Object to be visible in Software Center without that the package will NOT appear. Yes, you are correct we can use PS to manage the OS requirements, Collections and Deployments. Thank you.

Hi @normanperez - The naming convention for applications from the Package Feed Module can have spaces in the Product Name and/or Vendor Name. There is not a way today to remove spaces from the name as it appears in the Application Catalog and when it is published to the supported distribution systems that support spaces. This could be something we add as a product enhancement. Feel free to post this in the AdminStudio Ideas page here. As for the Application Catalog group (folder) naming, if a group with a Vendor name already exists, any new applications imported will be imported into that existing group. If a Group with the Vendor name does not yet exist, it will be created for a new application for that Vendor. Let me know if you have further questions on this point.
