I have FNMS On-Premise 2020 R2 and it has "Lease end date" as a property available for listing on Hardware Assets (see attached image). It is correct that the property is unavailable for list views at some point on later releases?

I have a saved view in the FNMS Web UI for a listing of Hardware Assets. I changed the Lease End Date value of several Hardware assets to extend a lease. Most of the Hardware Assets with the updated data appears in the saved view results now. One does not even though the database shows that the value did update for the record. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I combined the results of the Application License Assessments for the Standard and Datacenter licenses. The only pattern I see is that the lower priority license (Datacenter) has assessment information for Windows Servers applications and Service Center applications while the higher priority license (Standard) only has assessments for Windows Server applications. Both licenses are configured with the Core Infrastructure for Windows Server 2019 (Standard or Datacenter) application suite: the suite containing both the Windows Server application and the System Center applications. There are several Rejects on the assessment for the Datacenter stating, "There are not enough entitlements available on this license to cover this device". However, there are license entitlements available according to the reconciliation results.

I have two licenses - a Standard Edition and a Datacenter Edition - using the Microsoft Server/Management Core license type. Both licenses grant rights to use Windows Server Standard installation and the Standard Edition license has higher priority than the Datacenter Edition license. Reconciliation results in a calculated deficit of 68 Standard licenses but there is a surplus of 752 Datacenter licenses. Some of the Windows Server Standard installations where positioned under the Datacenter license by the reconciliation process, but not all, thus resulting in the reported deficit of 68. I allocated a Standard installation to the Datacenter license in an attempt to force the reconciliation process to report a compliant status for both licenses. However, it made the deficit on the Standard worse. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

How does one make updates to the PURL comments? I would like to make the updates but the Web UI does not appear to provide a way to make these updates.

Does anyone else get these unactionable license recommendations to update the PURL comments? "Recommendations with a choice of settings cannot be processed automatically. Please consider manually updating 'PURL comment' to one of the values shown above."

Microsoft Visio for 365 16.0 Application Microsoft Visio - en-us 16.0.% Microsoft% => Installer Evidence Added Visio.exe to File Evidence but I am now getting a error in the UI -> Duplicate Records Microsoft Visio Online for Office 365 <= Appears to be related to the M365 Connector VISIOONLINE Microsoft% Last used date is questionable as I am getting users saying they have not used the software on the resulting dates. Last used date is quirky. Every machine a named user has assigned gets the same last used date. I have attached both applications to the Microsoft Visio Professional Online license managed by the M365 Connector. I did this to get the Visio for 365 16.0 application off of the Unlicensed Installations list when the owner of the machine where the software is installed is a Named User for the subscription license. I also have the following desktop licenses to manage. Microsoft Visio Professional (License with current SA) Microsoft Visio Professional 2019 (License only) Microsoft Visio Standard (L&SA) The desktop licenses are working fine because the installer evidence names include both the edition and the market version numbers.

Is there an update to this article that applies to FNMS 2020 R2. I am unable to locate the Inventory Adapter Studio installer. Looks like Inventory Adapter Studio is installed as part of the FlexNet Manager Suite installation as well as the Beacon installation.

I have discovered some additional information that may be useful. I was able to dig up a part number for Oracle Primavera P6 (L70295) from our purchase records. I used this part number on a test purchase in FNMS. Then I performed a Recalculate operation from the Unprocessed Purchases view. No recommendation was generated but an alert was generated (see attached OracleBladeLicenseType). This recommendation does not make any sense to me but maybe it does to someone else. The next thing I did was use the processing wizard to create a license. I received a notice from the wizard indicating that I don't have the Flexera licensed functionality to create an Oracle Application User license type (see attached OracleApplicationUser). The notification states that a license type of Device will be used which is not what I would expect for a licensed assigned by user. This is not changing the way we are managing the licenses but perhaps it can be useful to others.

Viewing the list of All Assets will have to be the work around but an advanced filter has to bed used to show assets whose Assigned User or Calculated User the the person in question.

When viewing the hardware section of the user properties in FlexNet Manager Suite 2018 R1, I notice that the Assets portion of the form only displays device hardware assets. Is there a configuration to enable all hardware assets, including non-device hardware assets like cell phones, to be listed in the form as well?

Right. My environment is using FlexNet Manager 2018 R1 with inventory primarily fed from SMS and a small number of machines have FNMS Agent installed to capture SQL Server edition information. So, it looks like I need to collect the last login information in a custom property somehow so asset management personnel can identify candidate hardware assets for reclamation and reassignment.
