Hi Members, Need your help on application - IBM Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatform. In a recent observation we see this application reporting installation in a lot of our MacBook's from Flexera, as this a commercial software we checked on this compliance and checked with few end users, which turned out its not actually installed on their macs. Not sure if its a system apps from apple store ? After checking the installer evidence its seems there's an incorrect evidence mapped to this application. Evidence name is : SystemAutomation Version : 1 Type : OS X App Can somebody check on this evidence and application? if this is a bug are we working on its fix ?

Hi, As per updated EULA from Docker they have made Docker Desktop commercial for big business organization with more then 250 employee https://www.docker.com/legal/docker-subscription-service-agreement When are we expecting FNMS to update Docker products in its ARL? As its showing freeware

Hi, We have found installer evidence for Oracle Programmer with over 200 instances mainly on end user computers. In Programmer evidence we only have installer evidence and no file evidence linked to it, same was the case when we checked device app evidence. As checked with few potential users they don't have this installed in their machines not sure what is the cause of this false positive evidence? I have noticed that most of this users have SQL developer installed not sure if this is related in anyway? I have check a similar post https://community.flexera.com/t5/FlexNet-Manager-Forum/Oracle-Programmer-found-by-FNMS-Evidence-found-is-installer-but/td-p/167097 But seems there was a file evidence comps.xml linked here, but in my case it's just the installer evidence, I have attached the snapshots. As this is a commercial software we have identified it as a potential risk. Any help on this will be appreciated ?

I was directed here by @ChrisG Same issue with me I can see there is spike in extension pack installation count and have a found file evidence VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe linked to it, to further investigation its placed under freeware VirtualBox files. If this was added to the recent upgrade in flexera ARL, do you we have a proof of same as the links shared just have applications listed not their evidences and if the consumption under commercial software correct ? I don't think so !

I have a recent issue with a commercial application called Oracle VM virtualbox Extension pack, we have a significant Spike in installation count in just few days. We have no issue with inventory device reconciliation or manual installation by end users. Further investigating to this we found a file evidence linked to this application named : VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe is placed in user's machine who has VirtualBox(freeware) installed and not the commercial version installed which is causing the increase which was certainly not the case before. Can you anyone help me know if this is a Flexera updated in their ARL for VM virtualbox Extension pack app which might have caused this? Have they added or updated newer evidences? As the source for this file evidence is flexera. Hope you got my point else happy to rephase.

How does license reservation for requests submitted via ServiceNow works and will this work even if we don't have app portal in place ? I can see here its from app portal: https://docs.flexera.com/appportal2017/Content/helplibrary/App_Portal_Software_Request_Workflow.htm Incase app portal is required does we need to separately procure it along side with App broker ? Sorry lots of questions !!

Can we auto assign/allot software licenses from FNMS's license repository to user/device if requested through service now ITSM? To elaborate- I want app broker to automatically assign a spare license in FNMS to users who have requested the software through Service now ITMS. Will this work simply if we integrate app broker to service now ? We have FNMS as our SAM tool and service now as our request portal, but currently we dont have any integration system for them to communicate like app broker so we are thinking to purchase this module and any help or advice will great !!!
