I trust this is the right forum for this.  I am preparing to purchase KeyShot, and they offer a floating license through FlexNet. I would like to know whether the license manager can be installed on one of the workstations rather than a server, which I do not have?  Provided the workstation is running at the time the license needs to be allocated, would this be a solution?  Is there any issue with the workstation being restarted, etc. that would affect the handling of the licenses?  I assume the running process would be fairly simple with low activity and not likely to interrupt work on a powerful workstation , but some feedback on this would be helpful as well. (I do have a Synology Diskstation NAS, but have not found any indication it would work with FlexNet.) ... View more
