Each FlexDeploy Pod will be a separate charge. Your Account Manager will be able to provide additional information on purchasing an additional FlexDeploy Pod.
Once a Subscription is expired, you will lose access to the data on the FlexDeploy Pod, until the subscription is renewed.
In your case, if you did not want to purchase an additional FlexDeploy Pod, if possible, you would need to create routes to the new zone, so the RN150 can access. If not possible to create routes to the new zone, you will need to create another assessment, purchase and deploy another FlexDeploy Pod and RN150.
Please note, there is no feature to combine assessment data from two running assessments into one. For this, you will need to export the reporting from each assessment, then import them into one larger report.

Hi Herve,
You could use the Stack Membership Import feature (Add Intelligence > Stack Membership). Using the feature, you can move the devices in the Auto App Stacks into new Stacks with desired name. Also when using the feature, if no Stack with the given name exists, it will be created, and then Assets will be added to it. Once the devices have been moved out of the Auto App Stacks, you can then delete them.

Hi,
To get dataout from the tool, your best option will be to use the Private Cloud Resource Requirements page (Add Intelligence > Private Cloud Resource Requirements). On the page, in the Counters search box, you can search for Data transmit rate, which will average the amount of data transmitted. Once the counter has been selected, you can select specific devices, and apply the filter.

Licenses are used only to collect performance data and is independent of all of the Portal features. You will have access to the features such as tagging and reporting for the lifetime of the Subscription that was used to create the assessment.

Hi ektaverma,
When a device is discovered as virtual-unknown, this means the device was reported through VMware it, however, none of the support protocol ports were seen as open.

When validate collection results is showing an ICMP failure, this means that the RN150 virtual appliance sent a ping request to the device, however, the device did not respond back. ICMP can be blocked at the network level or locally on the device. The RN150 must be able to ping and receive replies back for a device to be successfully discovered.
I recommend reaching out to the device administrators and/or the network team for more information regarding the ICMP failures.
Please note, device dependency data (netstat and process data) is only collected from the operating system. A limitation of VMware is that netstat and process data cannot be provided. Any device that is a virtual-unknown is not properly discovered at the operating system level. Once the ICMP failure issue has been resolved, please request a rescan from the RN150 main Dashboard.

Hi Prabhat,
Using the validate collection feature does not require re-scanning. Re-scanning is used when you want to discover new devices.
To use the feature, you will select the appropriate credential used to access the device, click edit, click validate collection, and enter an IP address. The feature will then provide the error that is causing the netstat failure. If further investigation into the netstat error is needed, please open a Foundation/CloudScape support case.

Hi,
To determine the reason for the netstat collection failure, you may use the Validate Collection feature found in the RN150 virtual appliance. The Validate Collection feature is found in the Windows and SSH sections of the RN150. The feature will use the provided credential and attempt to access a device. If successful, next all of the commands used for inventory and performance collection will be ran against the device. If an error is received, the feature will provide it.

Hi,
The NTSTATUS: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED - Access denied indicates the account does not have the correct privileges to access the WMI classes on the remote host. Please find the below link to a Microsoft article that will detail the required permissions for enabling an account for remote WMI access:

If WBEMTest is unable to validate the credential, this is further evidence that the credential does not have the required privileges to access the devices.

The RN150 is the virtual appliance used to discover and collect performance data against devices. The FlexDeploy Pod is our on premise offer to our SaaS Portal, that houses the data collected by the RN150.
Please note, FlexDeploy is only supported on VMWare ESXi 5.5 or higher, and cannot be deployed to VMware Workstation or VMware Workstation Player.

It is going to depend on the device type. Many are prefixed with the assessment id, (used internally) which will make them unique, however, some are "short" form which typically just the IP address in integer/numeric form.

Will you please confirm if the mentioned servers are joined to a domain or workgroup servers?

As an option, you can use Wbemtest.exe utility that is included on all Windows systems to confirm the user account has the correct WMI privileges. Please find the below detail on using wbemtest.exe.
Below are instructions on using wbemtest.exe to verify the account has the correct privilege level and that the service is running:
Wbemtest:
1) In Windows, select start, type wbemtest, select enter. 2) Select 'Connect' in the top right corner
Namespace = [file://(computer]\\(computer name)\root\cimv2 - enter this replacing computer name with hostname (or IP address) you wish to test to.
Enter the Windows account username and password
Select 'Connect'
Successful authentication will result in seeing WbemServices and the tabs are no longer greyed out. Failure to authenticate will result in an error message.
Once you have resolved the privilege issues please select request rescan in the virtual appliance dashboard to update the inventory.

Hi,
Communication will occur bidirectional. When a connection is established, the RN150 will use TCP. A TCP connection uses a "3 Way Handshake." Due to the nature of a TCP 3 Way Handshake, when the connection is made, data will flow outbound and inbound, for the duration of the connection.
