Hi, I got this dilemma where in we are seeing AutoCAD with no version. Seems like info is coming from Flexera ARL with ID:arl://MGS-APP-00000114904. It says on the application container: https://www.autodesk.eu/products/autocad/subscribe?term=1-YEAR&support=ADVANCED&plc=ACD&quantity=1 http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/autocad-release-history.html "This application is for an unspecified version of the software. Inventory systems do not return sufficient information to be able to accurately determine details of what version of the product has been installed." Any thoughts on how we can get the version, perhaps from SWIDTAGS maybe? THanks

Hi, I'm trying to do a clean up of our users in FNMS and from the backend I can see that I have users that exist in complianceuser table that has complianceconnectionid that doesn't exist. Thoughts? Is it safe / ok to remove any imported data that is not in reference to any compliance connection?

Is this the one that run as part of the scheduled task? If it is then perhaps you can add ---nooptional at the end and that may help fasten the process.

Here's my dilemma, basically I have this machine and Assigned User to is different from Calculated user, however both are being read to be user of the application in one specific machine and therefore utilization is counted as 2. (See screenshot for your reference). The license type is User and I'm thinking whether it should be "User" or "Named User".

Hi, Can anyone please explain to me the difference between the 2? When do we use User as license type and when do we user Named User? What if the license is a subscription, would that fall under user? or named user? Thanks

I actually did and they are not test connection. I run the complianceconnection table and saw marked as 0 so meaning everything is good. Anyway, I ended up removing and re-making the business adapter instead. Right now it's taking normal course as we speak.

Hi, I have 2 stuck inventory imports (M365 and SCCM) both are on import into staging step with statuses of pending. I checked batchprocesstaskconsole hoping that there's something there connected to these 2 tasks that I could kill but there's none. Any more ideas? I tried to re-run these by clicking on Execute now and Run now from Beacon but it only changed the Last Run from the beacon but not from the System tasks. I seem to trace the log file connected to this so I have no idea where it is right now. All I know is that it's supposed to go now to my application server.

Hi Chris, Thank you for this snippet but isn't it that the unique identifier to do matching should Serial Number together with the Asset Tag? Is it possible that I imported the column in ServiceNow (assettag) into 2 fields in FNMS (Asset Name and Asset Tag)?

Hi, To ensure an intact connection between FIA and Flexera Beacon , I was thinking if there's any FNMS process (i.e. mgspolicy.exe, ndtrack.exe) you would recommend that I can deploy and be added to the scheduled tasks of each client and server that will run I'm thinking like twice a month. Thanks.

Hi ChrisG, Actually our data only goes from ServiceNow to FNMS and we don't have that SN to FNMS. Would that custom data flow/integration you are referring the XML file one? Can I tweak that so it would copy the SN Asset Tag both on FNMS Asset Name and FNMS Asset Tag so in case the FNMS Asset Name gets overwritten still the FNMS Asset Tag will be there as Asset Tag in FNMS? Thanks.
