Anyone have any input on this? To put it another way, is there a way that setup.exe can tell 1) if it's associated with my 32-bit msi or my 64-bit msi AND 2) what the processor type of the target machine is? Thanks, Lora

The entry for language in the template summary field dosen't alter the way the installer works.In all of our releases we use the default 1033 value(English).The installer picks up the language settings from the entries in the setup language and default language property.

Darn. Do you know if the bootstrapper adds the chosen language to the registry? I was thinking I could create a prerequisite condition, checking if a registry entry has a specified value. Thanks, loralynne

Thanks for your reply ME! I was hoping there would be a easy straightforward fix. Oh well. 😞 FYI - The = is actually the field terminator. From http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa369797.aspx: "This must follow a #, %, ^, or `. This creates one more input position of the same type as the preceding positions and terminates the field with a '-' separator." Thanks again, loralynne
