I have problem with getting the restart windows to pop up the user-input to restart, and followed these steps. it doesn't work. any more ideas?

doing build before saving project, so that saving project doesn't reset value doesn't work.

If the only value the $restart_required$ accepts is $no$, I thought I could just preset the variable to $no$ and it would run since it matches. this doesn't work.
