Hi Chris, We have noticed at my customer that the article is missing some JndiLookup class files. The thirtpartycertificateTool.jar also contains the JndiLookup class files. Can you please extend the article? And confirm that it will be included in the fixed?

HI Nicolas, Why is WMI Evidence threaded differently? Why not at Unrecognized Evidence-->Installer Evidence and then try to filter on WMI or Registry. Or Create a new Class WMI Evidence? The default is to look at Unrecognized Evidence and there it is not. It is good that further more at different parts in the product it is. But at the starting point it is missing. And as you stated The downside is that you must know what you look for . This is really an issue since you don't always know what you are exactly looking for.

Thanks Chris, This is also how I understood it. The only issue is that customers are scanning on the log4j-core-2.7.jar file so altouh the vulnerable file is no longer presents alarm are still being triggered. Secondly customer have the policy to install the patch so remove the file on itself is not sufficient enough for some customers. I am getting the impression that there is no pressure on the Flexera side to come with an fix because there is an alternative. Unfortunate not all companies like the alternative and they still expect an fix from Flexera.

HI ChrisG, Thanks that's what I was afraid for. The only issue now is that customers receive the choise or remove Cognos or install the patch. Since the patch will break FNMS Cognos only alternative is remove Cognos for the time being or shutting the server down. Is there an expected timeline for the fix to be compatible with FNMS? Hi Chris/Flexera According to : https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6526474 There is an patch available IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.6 to 11.0.13 FP4 Can Flexera make this patch availlable? You need an IBM account with support contract in order to download. Thanks and Regards Ronald

Hi Chris, For how long back or until what product versions did Flexera check this? I can imagine that some customers are still using older versions of Flexera products. Perhaps a colom can be added? Regards Ronald

Dear Flexera, We have many customer with no docker containers, but they do get the extra service installed. Is there an installation/configuration paramater that prevents the Docker inventory service from being installed? I have checked the documentation but it is not listed. Can the documentation agent components also please be updated with the docker components? Ofcourse it would be possible to edit the MSI with Orca or other MSI edition tools. But I am looking for an default configuration/installation paramater provided by Flexera. Thanks and Regards Ronald

Hi Chris, Thanks for your help. Yes that is what I mean. At this moment FNMS supports collecting Registry entries. But from that point you can only use it for existing ARL Rules. And especially with registry entries you want to create your own applications based on found evidence.
