When doing a one off upload of inventory to include installer evidence, I notice that the last used date isn't getting populated from the template. Has anyone done this before and been successful? I was thinking may the date format is wrong, but I am using the same format that is used with other import templates like the PO template. Thanks!

Assuming you want to see all software installed and the devices that it is installed on. If so, you would want to generate a report so that you can bring in the applications along with the devices into one view. Then filter so that the Installed Applications do not contain SQL. May have to play with the filters a little bit, but that should get you what you need.

When running an Analyzer report in the User Console using the Normalize: Mapping cube to look at the raw data mapping, we have found many instances where the data mapping is blank. Was curious if anyone else is experiencing this and what may be the cause. It shows as mapped, so was expecting to see what it is mapping to like most of the other products. See attached for an example.

Would it be possible to make the default behavior be to have the systems deduped by default? Then if a customer wants to remove the filter they could...but in most cases they just want to see the deduped results.

That is exactly what we have in place now. Another question we had with the O365 licenses is if we should be assigning Windows Desktop to them so it accounts for the actual usage...or if it really is just the numbers from the portal.

Was curious how everyone handles stale inventory within Data Platform? For example in FlexNet Manager when you pull in inventory from most sources you get a last inventory date, so you can easily see how long it's been since a system was last inventoried. This isn't available within Data Platform, so was curious if anyone is passing this data through or any other ways to handle it? Thanks!

We have connected to O365 and understand that it creates licenses automatically after the import. We are noticing that some of the licenses are being assigned an application while others do not. DesklessPack_GOV - This gets assigned the “Office 365 Plan K1 for Government” application M365_G3_GOV - Does not get assigned any application, however there is the “Office 365 Plan G3 for Government” application that would appear should be getting assigned. I believe these are just placeholder applications so that something can be assigned and allow the license to not appear as incomplete? Is this true? And if so, should the M365_G3_GOV license be getting assigned the “Office 365 Plan G3 for Government” license automatically like the “DesklessPack_GOV” license is? Understanding that we will never see actual consumption at the application level within the license.

I was able to have custom fields created by opening a support case. Not sure if that has changed or not though.

Ok thanks. I do have a case opened as well just to verify how it does the matching. The name it gives the license is a little cryptic and we weren't sure if we could change the name or if that would break the matching.

Yeah my next question would be based on the documentation it states that: The entitlements data for Microsoft 365 is directly imported from Microsoft 365. When an import matches an existing license record for Microsoft 365, its available entitlements are adjusted with each import. We had created purchases and licenses before importing O365 which obviously didn't get updated with consumption as it created the new licenses on import. However it states that if it finds a match it will simply update the consumption. What is it matching on? Only thing I could think of would be that internal SKU.

Is there a list of the SKUs that Flexera uses when creating the licenses for Office 365 via the connector? I noticed that the licenses are using a SKU that starts with "FLX". Was wondering if there was a list of these and the products they represent?
