As per the ActiveState announcement, they are changing how they distribute, license, and price their products and services. The changes are having impacts on licensing and pricing for few ActiveState products. Common file evidence with display name ‘Tomcat9.exe’ has been causing false recognition for Apache Software Foundation Tomcat 9.0 which is not correct.  We will be ignoring this file evidence in Technopedia. This change will impact customers who have relied upon discovered data that was previously recognizing Apache Software Foundation Tomcat based on exe data. Java platform 8 Standard was the only version recognized as a Suite (through the Java executable, the JDK and the JRE applications). This inconsistency will be fixed by removing the components for the suite recognition. This will enhance the visibility on the components that were "hidden" by the suite.
