Thank you @jdempsey for the suggestions. We do have those settings configured. What fixed it for us was adding the App Portal service account to the Administrative role within FNMS. Thanks!

It was the same user each time. In SCCM, the user only has one "primary device". However, in App Portal he has "On Behalf of" rights. His test were one right after another so I don't think it was possible that the first 5 times, he only had one primary device and when requesting the 6th time, they had a second primary device. This setting is checked: under Site Management > Settings > Web Site > Catalog Behavior called "Allow users to request to SCCM primary devices". I don't think it is possible the above option was not checked the first 5 times the application was requested and checked the 6th. There are only a few of us that have permissions to do that and we were all on the call together. Yes, the request on behalf options are selected for the catalog item. He tested again today and the Target screen popped up every time. We are just trying to understand more about the Choose Target page. The Choose Target page should launch under these circumstances? If the user has more than one primary machine If the user has "on behalf" rights and that option is enabled on the catalog item Is there a way to turn off the Choose Target page even if the above are true?

We have a general catalog item that just has a question template for users to fill out. We noticed that sometimes during checkout the "Choose Target" page does not appear; it goes directly to the question form. However, sometimes it does. We have tried 5 times on the same machine with the same user and have not seen the "Choose Target" page then the 6th time it shows up. We don't want it to appear but we can't figure out what is triggering it to appear or not to appear. Thanks!

Thank you @adrian_ritz1! Changing that setting in that file and doing an IISReset worked. Now we know where we can change other colors too, perhaps the ribbon bar (navigation bar). Appreciate you replying!

We have two FNMS On-Premises environments right now. We would like to change the color scheme or at least the heading of the Web UI so we can easily identify which FNMS we are using. It is easy to change the default color in App Portal but we can't find anything in FNMS or in any documentation. Thanks!

Mike and I uninstalled FSG and reinstalled it on the App Portal server. Then ran the RegistrerFlexeraServiceGateway.exe on our FNMS server (previously we were running it on the App Portal server). It registered and is in App Portal on the Settings -> Flexera Integration page. We see our App Portal and FNMS servers now. Also we verified in the FSG Host it shows it is bound to both servers. We did an IIS Reset, restarted ESD again but still are unable to search for any products or publishers in Flexera Manager Suite Mapping. It returns "No records found". I checked the TLS 1.2 settings for Client and Server settings are different between the App Portal and FNMS Servers. FNMS server has HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Server DisabledByDefault DWORD = 0 Enabled DWORD = 1 Same settings for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Client App Portal server has HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Server DisabledByDefault DWORD = 0 Enabled DWORD = ffffffff Same settings for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Client Should they be the same and if so, which one is correct? We have an odd issue. We want to embed the App Portal Link in a PowerPoint presentation. For some reason it does not open properly. We don't see the ribbon bar or categories. It works fine from Outlook or Word. We have tried different browsers (IE, Edge, Chromium, Chrome and Firefox). We have tried a FQDN URL, shortname, IP Address etc. We have tried clearing the browser cache. The other odd thing is we have been able to get it to work a couple times but then can never get it to work again. We evaluated what is running when it works and when it doesn't work. It appears the difference is a Javascript File that starts with kendo. Has anyone had a similar issue?

We have a new App-V environment. We have followed the instructions in the FlexNet Manager Suite on Premises for 2019R2 EXCEPT the App-V administrators said they don't use the App-V reporting database in this new environment. They pointed us to the App-V Management database instead. We receive this error in System tasks even though our service account has access. We don't see the table in the error below in the AppVManagement DB. Inventory gathering failed. Error: Invalid object name 'dbo.APPLICATION_ASSIGNMENTS. Is there a way to obtain App-V inventory without the reporting database? We may just have to tell the App-V admins it is the only way we can get the inventory. Thanks for any guidance!

Thanks Kevin for the reply. The importer.log showed it processed the users, groups and members successfully. We just performed a Reconcile and checked "Update inventory for reconciliation" and now the users show up! Thank you! Joan

We have a new install of FNMS (on premise) 2019 R2 and have been trying to get the AD Import working in the Beacon. We see the file move from C:\Windows\TEMP\<lots of numbers>.actdir.gz to C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Incoming\ActiveDirectory\<lots of numbers>.actdir.gz then disappear. We can see all the users in the AD SQL tables but can't see anything in the WebUI. Right now only the service account is defined as Administrator in accounts because we can't add any others. It doesn't see anyone.

We are trying to find display details (manufacturer and model are most critical) in the FNMS hardware inventory but not finding it. Does it contain that information and in which table/view is it stored?

Thank you jdempsey, we did add those registry entries from the article but also needed to upgrade our .Net Framework to 4.7. Additionally, we added targetFramework="4.6"/ to the App Portal web.config file so the line was updated to: <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="40960" targetFramework="4.6"/> After we did that, we disabled TLS 1.0 and App Portal still was able to communicate with all of our external systems (SCCM, FNMS and Remedy).
