Hi, this is a build in feature by Flexera FNMS, please check the latest FNMS Help about "Remote Devices" https://docs.flexera.com/FlexNetManagerSuite2019R2/EN/WebHelp/index.html#topics/Vir-Remote_Devices.html   You cannot create a remote device through the user interface. FlexNet Manager Suite analyzes the remote application access data with user details. If it finds a user that has accessed a remote application but has no hardware device associated with it, FlexNet Manager Suite creates a remote device.   As soon any of these "Remote users" can be linked to an inventory the remote devices will be removed and the application access is linked to the users inventory device. Hi @m2019sam  could you please re-upload your screenshot, you've attached an exan practitioner screenshot. The application recognition based on Installer/File/WMI oder SWIDTAG evidences. Details can be found in each application record in the tab "evidences". If none of the linked application evidences is found on your device, the application isn't recognized and would not count any consumption. The easiest way to check the identified applications by FNMS for each inventory device is the "evidence tab". If your adobe application appears here, than please check if you added the wright application to your license. How did you create the Adobe license ? Hi  @marcog , please try our "Discovery and Inventory Rule" setting, which works fine in all of our projects. This will run on each scan a extra discovery and do not rely on the "discovered inventory" data in FNMS. This settings solved a lot of issues for us in context of vCenter discovery. Can it help, if we delete the complete Common Folder incl. all files on the faulty parent beacon and he has to download all packages incl. permissions again? UPDATE: Delete the whole "Package" folder and our faulty parent beacon and forced a re-download from his parent (which is fine, because others download the files successfully). A few thoughts... - the process of creating new assets is no longer done via the FNMS WebUI, but with the help of a business adapter, which gets the appropriate data e.g. from an XLS. Within the adapter all necessary fields can be preconfigured - You could define an "On Create/Update" trigger on the corresponding table, which fills the custom field for each new asset ... but I would advise against it, because you can't track these changes in the system in any log ...   Best ... The out of the box adapter mentioned by Markward unfortunately only supports the transfer of asset and contract data from ServiceNow to Flexera. Hi, The Business Adapter Studio does not provide a function for deleting data records; you can only create and edit data. However, you can solve your requirement using the BAS custom query function. To do this, you determine the appropriate stored procedure (SP) that is required to delete the required objects. The SP always requires corresponding input data, which should then be removed from the system (e.g. AssetID, UserID, ...). The necessary query to determine the data and the actual command to execute the stored procedure to delete the data is placed in the custom query. HI @AamerSharif  Thank you. Could you please elaborate on one of your first postings, what do you mean by "fall back into global pool"? Is this your recommended setting, that at least 2 or more beacons should be specified when using this function, so that the agent has the possibility to reach more. We just want to make sure that we understand the features and their limitations If device goes out of restricted agent beacon communication group, it will fall back into global pool and communicate with possible beacon/s it can communicate as soon as it get new policy, when they comes to restricted group, beacon group restriction applies after next policy update. This is to make sure, restrictions does not cause any inventory agent to go into orphan state where it cannot talk to any beacon anymore but provide options to restrict device to communicate to specific group by moving them from global pool to restricted group.     ...
