I have a custom action within a chained MSI that requires Admin privileges. If I was installing this MSI on its own, I would just bootstrap the MSI within a setup.exe to get the Admin privileges. However when I run an Installscript MSI that installs this MSI via chaining as an Admin, this MSI is not getting the proper privileges because it's returning an error that would only occur in Non-Admin mode. ... I ended up changing the attribute for the InstallWelcome dialog in the Dialog table to include the SysModal bit. This changed the value of Attribute from 3 to 11 and it appears to be working. Thanks for the assistance! EDIT: That didn't fix it...I tried the install on another PC and the InstallWelcome dialog for my chained MSI is still appearing behind the Installshield progress dialog.
