Title	Removal of Microsoft SQL Server without edition from the Technopedia Database	Class 1	Customers should be prepared and take actions
Summary	Flexera will delete Microsoft SQL Server releases along with its components without an edition.
Impact	This change will impact customers who rely on Technopedia Manufacturer ID/Product ID/Release ID & Names or previously discovered data mapped to the release level without edition will be mapped to the product level. The change needs the customer to manage downstream processes and reporting in their organization. The spreadsheet ‘Releases to be Deleted for Microsoft SQL Server without edition.xlsx’ provides the full list of all the Technopedia releases for which Microsoft SQL Server doesn’t have an edition.
When	The Customers should expect these changes to occur from May 23rd to May 24th.

This has a huge impact, a lot of SQL Server are being reported without
Edition. If we no longer report them at the Release level , which means we
will lose the associated version, we won't be able to know which one are no
longer supported.

There are 8526 installs which would be impacted due to this deletion of releases. Could you please let us know, if these instances would be reassigned to any different release?

Similarly, there are several minor versions of SQL Server that EOL is not until 2025 and 2999 so this list needs further reviewing and updating.
