Change Summary |
To be consistent with the last change of JDK&JRE 5~11 [1], we are going to make the similar change for JDK&JRE 1.0~1.4. JDK 1.0~1.4 are available free and licensed under the Binary Code License (“BCL”). [2] There are some cases that the revisions of JDK include the Access Only option and are available to Java for Business subscribers. [3] Then the version 1.0~1.4 will be migrated to the public Java products.

Impact |
This change will impact customers who rely on Technopedia Product ID/Release ID & Names and discovered previously mapped data to major versions of JDK and JRE. They will be mapped to the new products. The attached spreadsheet provides the full list of all releases in scope for this review. Customers should expect these changes to have been completed within the next 2 weeks. |
