Technopedia is making changes for evidence recognition for Oracle Database to address a reported problem with false positives. Common file evidence with display name 'Oracle.exe' has been causing false recognition for Oracle Database which is not correct. We will be ignoring this file evidence in Technopedia.
This change will impact customers who have relied upon discovered data that was previously recognizing Oracle database based on exe data.
We have research on this discovered exe file and there would be no impact as it shouldn’t be used for recognition.
