Spider Software Services - May 2020 update

The May 2020 update of the Spider Software Services is now available.

All components are available in our Product and License Center.

Highlights

• SCCM connector: Due to performance issues, the additional filter for files we delivered with the March update has been removed.
• The delivery for the data center inventory for Linux and Unix has been changed in the multi-platform inventory agent, which transfers the inventory results directly to the Spider Data Center Appliance. The previous "cis" agent has been removed from the delivery.
• Renaming of Citrix products:
  • XenServer --> Hypervisor
    Enterprise Edition --> Premium Edition
  • Citrix Netscaler VPX --> ADC VPX
    Platinium Edition --> Premium Edition
    Enterprise Edition --> Advanced Edition

Recognition Catalog

The Recognition Catalog contains normalization and recognition capabilities for more than

• 2.567.900 inventoried programs,
• 85.900 software publisher,
• and 5.953.200 inventoried files.

Software and SKU Catalog

TheSoftware Catalog contains more than 948.200 relevant and normalized articles (SKUs) of software licenses and maintenances and more than 58.200 license relevant product versions. 
Summary of the supplemented catalog items:

Spider Data Collector

The Spider Data Collector (SDC) provides a set of connectors to 3rd party inventory for an out-of-the-box collection of computers, software, users, virtualization and many more.
