Hi Vlad,

There is no official documentation on DeviceCalculator.

I will see if the developer will be able to give me more detailed explanation but simplified, it is a task that processes the Recognition Data. For example, it makes Assets from Devices and defines Hardware type such as Server or Client etc.

Hi Vlad,

the DeviceCalculater does the following processing steps:

• Normalization of programs (Software Scan) and files
• Processing of the recognition rules
• Merging of metering data with files and their recognition result
• Calculation of the summaries for programs and files
