Symptoms
WSUS / System Centre states Disconnected every time when logging in to check if there are any new updates available. Clicking through the steps to connect works.
Cause
The user has not signed into the Internet Explorer using the "Run As Administrator" right-click option.
Resolution
Right-click IE and sign in as Admin prior to loading the SVM console.
