Receive the following message when trying to use and download a prerequisite:
The download failed; make sure you are running as Administrator, and that your machine is connected to the Internet.
Cause
The "URL to file:" field for the prerequisite is pointing to an invalid URL.
Or one of the dependencies for the prerequisite was unable to be downloaded, perhaps for the same reason.
Resolution
You may search the internet and download the file on your own. Then modify the prerequisite to point to the existing file on your machine.
Workaround
Enter the Redistributables view in Installation Designer to modify a Prerequisite. Find the prerequisite you're looking to modify, right click on it and select Edit Prerequisite.
