visual studio 2012 ERROR 2732:DIRECTORY MANAGER NOT INITIALIZED
I have a visual studio 2010 vb.net desktop application that uses sap crystal reports. I want to upgrade to visual studio 2012 that uses sap crystal reports. I have Visual Studio 2012 Shell (Integrated) on my workstation.
I downloaded the free install shield (limited edition).
When I downloaded the file, my only option was to cancel or 'save file'. I did a save on the download file.
When I run the installer, I get the message, 'install shield 2015 Limited Edition requires Microsoft Visual Studio 201,2012,2013, or 2015 professional edition or greater to be installed on the machine. the install will now about'.
After that, I click on the option to see the log file , and I get the message,
"2732:DIRECTORY MANAGER NOT INITIALIZED".
In addition with another file, there is a number to activate my copy.
Thus can you tell me what I can do to solve this issue?
Limited Edition require Microsoft Visual Studio professional or higher version. During the Limited Edition installation it searches the system for the installed visual studios and its versions. If the installer failed to find the Visual Studio professional or higher versions, then the message is prompted.
