hi,

another quick question:
is it possible to use streamfilefrombinary in deferred execution modes?

In deferred custom actions, no access is available to the MSI database. As a result, functions that try to access tables in the MSI (like StreamFileFromBinary) cannot do so. If a file in the Binary table is needed it would need to be extracted with StreamFileFromBinary in an immediate custom action.
