multiple installations of installshield
Has any one run both 11.5 and 2008 on the same machine?
I was able to get both installed without any issue but are there any behind the sceens effects that might not be obvious?
We have two projects housed on the same machine and are only ready to migrate one at this time.
suggestions would be GREAT!!

Yes, InstallShield 2008 and InstallShield 11.5 should be able to co-exist on the same system.

Do you use InstallShield projects from within Visual Studio?
Visual Studio can be integrated with only one version of InstallShield Premier Edition or InstallShield Professional Edition at a time. The last version of InstallShield that is installed or repaired on a system is the one that is used for Visual Studio integration.

I would highly encourage the 11.5 customer to upgrade to 2008. Especially if you are using InstallScript CA's.
