installshield windows service

hi

i want to invoke a windows service as part of pre install task. i have already added the exe file of windows service under 'services'. but its not getting invoked.

kindly help

Hi @vlexdev ,

 

Did you configure the service settings required as per the windows service that you have added?

For an example startup type,etc.You can enable log as well to see what goes wrong.
