installer terminated prematurely
Hi,
I have create single MSI package in 2010, I am trying to install the package on Windows 2008. The package is giving error. It says "installer terminated prematurely"
When i checked the log it gives this error on this line
"Action 11:31:44: InstallODBC. Installing ODBC components
1: MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver 2: 3: 4 4: DSN 5: MyApplication 6: DATABASE 7: MyApplication 8: PWD 9: root 10: SERVER 11: localhost 12: UID 13: root
MSI (s) (F8:DC) [11:31:44:724]: Internal MSI error. Installer terminated prematurely."
What could be the problem?
Regards

Did you happen to figure out what was causing this issue?
One of our customers is reporting the same thing, but we can not reproduce the issue ourselves.
So if you found out what it was then could you let me know what you found?
Thanks,

This was because of the version of the MySQL ODBC Driver. The OS was 64 bit and we were referencing the 32 bit driver. Installed 64 bit driver everything worked fine.

Thanks, but I guess mine is not related as we are not shipping SQL drivers. So I guess that I'll have to keep looking....:(
